It’s all about the abs! This class focuses on the core (your abdominals) with every movement. Stretching, toning, strengthening and stamina – with the benefit of exercises that sculpt a flatter stomach. A traditional Pilates mat class combined with roller and ball work builds muscle strength and rebalances the body.

Lori began teaching dance aerobics in Colorado at the age of 16. She went on to become a fitness instructor at her Community College. While working on her degree in Community Health, Lori came to California to participate in a 9 week internship at the Sonoma Mission Inn, here in Sonoma. Upon graduation, the internship lead to a full time position as an SMI fitness instructor.
Over the years, Lori has taught step aerobics, body sculpting, and pilates classes at various resorts, gyms, community centers and fitness studios. She has lead classes as large as 100 people and taught ages ranging from 13 to 85.
Lori’s love of fitness includes running & hiking too! She has been an avid runner for over 33 years and enjoys just about any form of exercise outdoors. Her favorite place to exercise is Lake Tahoe in the summertime.
